History of Mass Insight
Mass Insight Global Partnerships was launched by Bill Guenther in 1989, originally in collaboration with Opinion Dynamics which conducted the quarterly public opinion surveys in Massachusetts.
Public Opinion Survey Research: Starting with a public opinion survey produced quarterly with Opinion Dynamics for a group of clients, Mass Insight developed an archive of 30 years of tracking data on strategic issues facing the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and its major firms and universities.
Strategic Leadership Groups: Mass Insight grew its capabilities to organize and support trusted networks of 15-25 organizations working together on shared goals through facilitation, case study and economic research, issues campaigns and shared programs.
In the 2000s, Mass Insight organized leadership groups, focused on economic strategy and the development of a science and technology strategy organizing university-industry government partnerships in Massachusetts. Initiatives included:

In the 1990s, leadership groups included:
Transportation/infrastructure group looking beyond the Big Dig (’93-’94)
Healthcare policy group responding to the Clinton proposals (’94-’95)
A monthly education reform roundtable and annual briefing that led to the launch of Mass Insight Education and Research as an independent nonprofit in 1997
The MA Clean Water Council led by the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority and mayors and their staff from Massachusetts cities (’90-’01)
Leadership
William H. Guenther | Chairman, CEO and founder in 1989 of Mass Insight Global Partnerships, a consulting firm organizing public-private partnerships in Massachusetts and the New England region.
Bill is executive chairman and founder in 2011 of the nonprofit Advanced Cyber Security Center (ACSC), and founder in 1997 and retired chairman/CEO of the nonprofit Mass Insight Education and Research.
Bill is a graduate of Harvard College and the New York University Law School. He lives in Newport, R.I. with his wife and has two grown children.
